Struggles Of A Graduate

Dear Diary

For the past three years and a couple of months, I have been an unsuccessful graduate who has graduated from what's considered one of the top private colleges we have or so I've thought. The money paid towards the college for my qualification does not correlate or doesn't correlate with the education and the benefits I was lured in within the hopes of getting an education that ensured my getting a job after graduation.

That situation taught me the importance of looking through the gold ribbon around a product or service I'm thinking of buying. What I mean by this is not to believe things at face value but rather look through the terms and conditions, and understand that they are a business after all and they need to make money. But the big takeaway for me was the importance of taking responsibility for my choices and circumstances.

I am still in the process of getting my name out there for opportunities to be able to reach me or to make myself employable, and this time around I want to have more than one stream of income because this isn't it hey!

Right now the qualification is simply collecting dust waiting for when that one door I knock on actually opens up for me. It really is disheartening to constantly apply and send out CVS to a plethora of companies but still get rejection emails that you can clearly see that they are auto-generated emails and no thought is given to them.

And then you find yourself in a situation where your family members or people around you think or insinuate that you are not putting in the effort to get a job not knowing the struggles you go through on a daily sending out emails and getting rejection after rejection- The only thing they are good at is pointing fingers at you and adding onto your depression and anxiety.

Surely A Door Will Open Up For Me Soon!
