Diary Insert
Having gone back to exploring my love for art and drawing I have found that in as much as I have an innate ability to replicate what I see in drawings, there is still a lot that I need to learn and perfect in terms of my ability to do other forms of art and that it's not going to be an easy feat but I am looking forward to the journey!
With that said I have done a bit of research into the different drawing styles I can use to perfect my craft and learn about different forms of art that I can try to do, a big emphasis on the word 'try' because I'm on a learning journey and I don't expect myself to get things in one go but with daily practice I will hopefully be able to call myself an artist with an identifiable style of doing art.
The first one that everyone has done once or more times in their lives as kids and even as adults is as follows:
Doodling, refers to rough scribbles and sketches of ideas, and what you can do with it is very limitless. Everything from drawing a simple shape over and over again to creating characters that spring to life off the page, this is what is considered doodling. It is good practice for ones' drawing skills and will keep the creative juices flowing.
The second one is hyperrealism which is centered around the drawing of portraits, with hyperrealism you will learn to capture facial features in amazing detail which evidently can result in beautiful and moving portraits.
All it takes for one to master these styles and much more is practice and dedication, be on the look out for more on the different styles of drawing I will be hopefully trying out.................
Xoxo
Stay Flawsome!
