Dear diary💕
Throughout the years I've come to realise that not everything you plan or wish to attain will happen as is, and that life has a way of smacking you back to a sense of 'Reality'.
I mean don't get me wrong or anything, I'm not saying everything you wish for is unattainable, majority of the things are and some aren't, that's just how life is essentially. But I'm one of those individuals who hates it when things don't go as I plan especially if I put a lot of effort and time in it.
From a young age like most people I've had my life planned out 'to the t', from graduating high school in record time to my college education as well. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think of the many hurdles I would encounter in my journey towards pursuing my dreams. To say life's reality smacked me right across the face is an understatement, from taking a gap year before enrolling to college to being unemployed for an entire year (which might not be considered long enough for most people but to me it is)- I was reminded that life doesn't revolve around me.
And that type of reality check to someone who is so set in her ways about how her life is meant to be is really a hard pill to swallow!
